I ve been your customer for over a year and like most people I am always concern about surprises when place my car to be repaired or just for a service.
With Ken Stout Motors is no different I always get surprised but in a positive way. The quality of service provided by your shop is far way above any standard in the local market. It is fast, reliable, fair priced and most important the people are just Fantastic.

I m a loyal customer and I always take any opportunity to advertise your services among my friends. Please receive my congratulations and extend to your crew.

| ........... Anyway, my WOF experience has been somewhat enhanced over the last few years by using Ken Stout Motors on the Shore (ph. 444-9290.) Ken Stout was recommended to me by club member ***** ***** when I used to live on the shore, and after using them once it's hard to imagine ever using anyone else again! What I like about these guys is that, while not being shy to fail a car if it deserves to be failed, they don't fail a car simply because it is old and, by some twist of logic should be failed on that basis alone (Vehicle Testing Stations anyone?) Additionally, they know cars like old Rovers and Jags like the back of their hands. Indeed, they are just in the final stages of a full restoration of a P5B Coupe at the moment - they don't have to ask you how the lights work! On testing day the Land Rover, naked without canopy, made its way to Ken Stouts' and then, akin to a doctors examination, was prodded and poked in its private parts whilst notes were furiously scribbled on a clipboard. Naturally, the Land Rover left in disgrace, having failed on three things: lights ("this is a Land Rover, it doesn't need lights!") exhaust ("you mean its only supposed to come out the end of the pipe?") and; brake fluid leaks ("it's old and incontinent!") |

| Hi Ken,
It was a pleasure to see how the Kiwi's do Jags. Probably a bit more
seriously at your place than any other that I saw in NZ, a whole lot more
serious, than I do it here in Sydney.

| My dealings with Ken Stout Motors Ltd have been excellent.
I bought an XJ40 in July 2003, from Ken, and have since used only his workshop for service.
The workshop team have that rare combination of abilities – they are technically competent, and handle themselves very well indeed, in their dealings with customers.
In January 2006 I updated to an X308, again from Ken.
Ken Stout Motors Ltd expended a good deal of labour, and applied some very high powered technical ability, to make good a fault which I discovered a couple of weeks after purchase.
Diagnosis of the fault required several hours of patient, intelligent, technically demanding, work.
There was no charge to me for that work, and no charge for the Jaguar which they made available for me whilst they attended to mine.
I unreservedly recommend Ken Stout Motors Ltd., and I am most happy if this correspondence is made available to intending Jaguar purchasers, or to Jaguar owners seeking repair or service work.

| I just wanted to drop you a line to say how I did appreciate the treatment
we had from your firm a few weeks ago when you repaired the rear wheel
bearing in my Jaguar Sovereign.
We were both most impressed eith the way you dropped everything and sprang
into action to diagnose the problem, and then had the willingness to tackle
the job as urgent next day so that we could get to Wellington and onto the
ferry.
The car ran beautifully for our return trip to Nelson. The local gurus are
amazed at that crack in the bearing housing.
Thank you very much from both of us for your courtesy and help.
Best wishes etc |

| Top marks, Andrew. Your suggestion worked well. Used Jill's hairdryer to soften the plastic, and a new and very sharp razor did the rest. Thanks for your idea - the results are 'as new' in appearance. |

| Please pass on my thanks and gratitude to Andrew. I have recently been to busy to bring my Daimler in for small repairs so arranged for my sister to do this on my behalf. I am disappointed that I was unable to visit Ken Stout Motors personally, however, I am thrilled with the outstanding level of customer service provided by Andrew. Friendly, honest, exceptionally polite and customer focussed.

| Many thanks for your reminder that a service was due on the Rover. However, due to the ongoing problems I was experiencing with the Rover, I was no longer feeling comfortable with it and so a few months ago I traded it for a Honda Civic. I would like to thank you and your wonderful engineers for the fantastic service you gave me over the last couple of years. I don't know how you put up with me sometimes - particularly when the vehicle was 'inactive' for so many weeks with the computer problem. Please convey my sincere thanks to the guys - a great team! |

| Just seen your listing for our old car and boy it looks a million dollars, and nice of you to say it had been well maintained, which we had tried to do. Thank you once again for a great deal, and one of the best experiences we have had with a car firm, and we have bought and sold about 30 cars over the years. |

| I just want to thank you for the time and trouble you went to in order to help me with the problem I had with the intermittent cutting out and stopping. It seems the main cause was probably the high tension lead to the coil as since you checked the electrics out and tightened the connection, all has gone well without any problem with the engine missing or cutting out. I really appreciated your help in sorting the problem for me. |

| My father rang you a while ago and asked if you could supply two tappet shims, and a couple of days later they arrived. Thanks, what great people you are. Why? Because you were prompt and wouldn't accept any money. I know they are only worth a couple of bucks, but you still went to the trouble. Also, you have given me good advice over the phone relating to my Daimler. |
